Well, its not actually the 1st time I was drenched on the way back to office after lunch. Only this time, my Nikes turned into a fish tank.

We're stuck at the "sheltered" bus-stop, which doesnt actually do its purpose when the wind changes the rain direction. My jeans were totally wet behind even thou I was hiding at the pillar from the rain. We had to get someone to fetch us some umbrellas so as to embark on the seemingly long journey back to office.

The umbrella only managed to keep my hair mostly dry. My jeans were all wet when I accessed the office with my pass. My Nikes weigh a ton. I threw them off me once I reached my territory. Off goes the dripping wet socks b4 I commence dancing on the carpet to dry my feet, leaving footprints all over like some tribal art.

I wandered abt in my slippers the rest of the day. The wet jeans had a towel to keep them from catching a cold while my area stink of rain. The jeans only started drying when I was waiting for a bus home, dats like 4 hrs since the rain, with my Nikes cheapened by the red plastic bag, whilst wearing my "metal-toe ultra stiff" safety shoes, sans the socks.

The Plastic-Bag Bagged Nikes

The stiff safety shoes that gave me some abrasions for wearing without socks

I need to get some extra socks and pants in my office for emergencies.
